As much fun as I was determined to have for Halloween weekend, going to a couple different parties and donning a couple of different costumes- I ended up curled up in bed watching horror movies instead- which was strangely relaxing.
Better luck next year, I suppose?
I still stand by my sentiment that Mother Nature can eat a bag of dicks, though.
Other than getting an unwanted preview of what this upcoming winter probably has in store for us, I've been busy with work and school (the usual!) lately, and now that we've kicked off November- I've added "preparing for the holidays and year end wrap-up" on the To-Do list. It's hard to believe that 2011 is going to be over in a little less than two months, considering it feels like it only just started!

In other news, we all know how much I love to play and experiment with new looks (within reason, of course)- and since I have no intention of ever changing my red hair (I love it THAT much), I opted to change my eye color instead. Ta-Da! I have green eyes now.
My new name, determined with help from some friends to match my new look, shall now be Ashley O'Malley Douglas McElizabeth.
Kidding, of course. My dear Steven, who is the most Irish guy I know- informed me that "Douglas" is actually a Scottish name, but since I love the Scots, too- I'm keeping it as is!
Today is all about running errands and getting ready for the upcoming week, though- so I've got to cut this short and head out for the day.
'Til next time!
xx

By the way, Stef lent me this book a while back and I'm just now getting around to reading it. It's hysterical. I don't think I'm going to want to give it back when I'm done.
I hope there's a movie adaptation of it.
