The transition from vacation to getting back to work was pretty much instant, and coupled with the fact that I seem to have brought 40 days and 40 nights of rain to Massachusetts with my return- it's been a little rough getting back into the swing of things.
I had a lovely time. My trip started off with a brief stay in Las Vegas, where I spent a few hours (but it never feels like long enough!) with my dearest Kelsey (I LOVE YOU, GIRRRRRL. "Glaucoma, Gonorrhea, what's the difference? It's all the same"), Steven, and James, among others- on the strip and then later on at the Beauty Bar on Fremont Street.
Despite Vegas being the city of sin, I managed to behave myself during the short time I was there. I saved the debauchery for San Diego.

It's no surprise, especially after my last entry- that I'm completely smitten with San Diego and all the people I know there. I don't think there's enough space on the internet to hold all the love, praise, and thank you's I want to write to everyone who helped make my time there memorable.
Between a lovely picnic at the zoo with Duncan, a semi-wild (and pretty comical) night out on the town with my beloved friend Jimmy, and drinking, dancing, & laughing until it hurt with my twin Daniel and the always sensational Brian Karscig following The Nervous Wreckords performance at the "Great American Showcase" benefit show at El Dorado- I'm still buzzing. I do miss everyone terribly, but I'm looking forward to next time, which will hopefully be soon.
The next couple of days will be spent catching up on work, as well as getting my eating and sleeping habits back under control (since I stayed up all hours of the night and continuously raided Smashburger for their milkshakes and BBQ, Bacon & Cheddar burgers while I was away. OM NOM NOM).
That being said, I'm hoping to be in bed fairly early tonight!
Away I go!
