Hey everyone- wild natural disasters we're having here on the East Coast, although the 5.8 earthquake that briefly (VERY briefly) shook Virginia, NYC, and parts of New England the other day can hardly be considered a "disaster".
My friends on the West Coast poked fun at how dramatic people here reacted to the tremble, and it wasn't long before things like THIS popped up. Prayer circle, guys! We need a prayer circle!
However, Hurricane Irene seems to pose a greater danger to those along the East Coast, so while I have some time inbetween charging electronics in case of power outages and bringing any belongings outside that are capable of blowing away in high speed winds, I wanted to take some time to tell everyone in the areas expected to be hit the hardest to please be prepared and stay safe!
The storm isn't stopping my dinner plans for the evening tonight, though. A group of friends and myself are getting together for a little "Pre-Hurricane Fondue" before I head out to the West Coast (hopefully without delays)
